Ranj, if you decide to bid on these let me know so that I won't bid against you, I know they're a littlle small for me at the moment but if I could get them for £20-30 posted they'd be worth getting even if only to loan out.

, it's not very difficult to measure a jacket and trousers and if it were me I'd be as helpful as possible as the more bidders there are the better price you'd get, anyway good luck with your bidding

I've got a pair of their denim trousers on the way, i'll report when they turn up, but i only ordered them on friday, so could be a while yet.
Kept a good eye on them but didnt bid as the possibility of getting hammered on top with customs etc just wasnt worth it 
The same seller also had a very nice US overcoat-also won by a jammy Italian

I notice a LOT of people order quite high value items from WPG-do you get stung with customs and fees etc?
I have ordered from WPG about four times and have not had customs or handling fees to pay. The orders have been around $200 each time plus carriage. WPG are good and only put the value of the item being sent not the price. (This value seems to be always lower than the price you have paid for the goods). We do a similar thing at work to minimise custom payments on items we export.
I guess if I am ever stung for customs I will also get a handling charge as the carrier calls this an admin charge for paying customs the duty and then going to recover the cost from you.
I plan on continuing to use WPG while the exchange rate makes it sensible and they deliver better service and products than some UK based mail order businesses.
Reason i ask is a friend recently tseted the waters so to speak with some low value bits from WPG-around the minimum value before fees etc.Got stung and had to pay £11 in fees if i can remember so i am very weary of ordering from them-shame as they have some good looking kit 
I've ordered from WPG more than half a dozen times and I only got stung for my big Brit kit order about three years back. Getting zapped by customs duty is a chance you take when ordering from any overseas supplier so I wouldn't let it put you off ordering from WPG it is simply the luck of the draw in my experience. I'll be placing an order with Jerry again as soon as the sale on my flat completes!

Even if i get hit with fees, on what i've bought, it'll still work out marginally cheaper than buying from SoF, and I'd rather give money to someone that's had excellent mail order communications and service so far, even if some of the cash ends up going to HM R+C and parcelfarce, rather than give it all to SoF, who seem to have a bit of a problem being even pleasant to their customers, half the time.
Taff I think even with the customs and ParcelForce handling fee my order which was British BD uniform, full set of 37 pattern less large pack, ammo boots, anklets, GS cap, cap comforter, wool shirt, braces and a few other sundries I think I still undercut what I would have paid UK dealers. It wasn't by much, £10 to £15 perhaps but enough so that I didn't regret buying from Jerry.
I mean a rough example is that from Jerry 37 and 40 pattern BD jacket and trousers will cost around £145 inclusive of postage, the same from Sof will cost £176.50 with postage. That's over £30 cheaper if you don't get import duty. Also given that where possible Jerry is "economical" with the detail he puts on the customs label you may well get away with it. I always way up the pro and cons with each particular order but if there's a chance and even a small saving buying from WPG I'll do it.
Still as they says "you pay your money and take your choice"

Actually yes. material and colour-wise, they're really good (to my eye at least), but as for size, they're ridiculously huge.
Like, clown-trouser huge.
They didn't have any 34", so i said ok to a pair of 36's, as i thought i'd be able to take in the waist a bit, and they need to be big to go over BD if needs be, but this is taking the piss, i can practically get both of my legs down one leg.
Same goes with the BD wool trousers, i got a 34 in those, and waist-wise, they're fine ( a bit big, as i'm about 33", and they're high waisted), but the leg width is ridiculous. laid flat, each leg is well over an inch wider than my greek BD trouser legs, and when on they just look annoyingly 'flappy'. Do Amercians have really fat legs or something that i don't know about?
To say i'm disappointed is an understatement. Even if it's possible, it's going to cost me the same as it cost to import them to get them professionally altered.

I quite like my WPG denims and as has been said by many others they used to be the best buy going as you once could get a full set for under 30 quid sadly now with the exchange rate its more now. Hows everyone feeling about him moving warehousing and processing to UAE? On WW2 forum there's lots of concern over delivery order quality (sometimes getting orders slightly wrong-delivery times being excellent)

Oh yes, i know they're designed to go over BD trousers, but the size they are, they'd double as a pair of pup tents. 
The arms on some SOF blouses are quite long. Gadge is a big 'un and has no problems with the BD he has...
But if you can afford it the best is probably to get a Pegasus one, which can be made to measure.
